how the FUCK is kicking someone’s ass as bad as advocating the GENOCIDE of an ENTIRE GROUP OF PEOPLE? jenny hyun DESERVES to have her ass kicked all OVER the place. violent responses to things that threaten someone’s humanity, while i agree is not ideal, is a completely valid response and is a form of self-preservation.
and seriously? you’re going to bring up european imperialism?
i hate european imperialism as much as any sensible person, and yes, the model minority myth + imperialism is at the root of a lot of anti-blackness in the apia community, but that does NOT mean that an individual shouldn’t be held responsible for her racist + hateful statements.
european imperialism does NOT justify that.
